Will I get a government job when case is pending in court under Section 323, 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code?

There will be no problem in your job due to the pending case because Indian criminal jurisprudence that an individual is held to be innocent until charges against him are proven.

However, you can also consult any senior employee in the department, in which you have been selected, with respect to the same, and he/she might be able to guide you exactly with the same.

In a government job an affidavit is submitted stating that your character is good and have a clean antecedent. However, it is better to check the eligibility before applying to any job since it may be possible that in some jobs they might not ask for that affidavit.

And as you have given all the proofs about yourself to the police then maybe you will be acquitted soon and once you are acquitted then no one can stop you to get the government job.

The Supreme Court has held that a person facing criminal cases cannot be considered suitable for appointment in government service unless acquitted of the charges.

There is no bar to apply for any govt. job even when a case is pending against you. The reason behind is that the matter is still pending in the Court or you can say it is sub-judice in the Court.

The effect of a criminal case on employment varies according to the kind of offence and job.
