Generally, for government jobs and jobs in civil services, there are rules that state that the candidate should not be convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude;
hence, your career or appointment to a job will definitely be affected if you are convicted of an offence.
The selection for the positions in government jobs depend on the rules made by the Department of Personnel and Training and upon the individual departments of the government, but there is a general rule that you need to mention in your application if there are any cases pending or any criminal convictions against you when you apply to a government job and therefore your daughter will also have to inform about her conviction under section 279, 337 and 338 of the Indian Penal Code and generally people with active criminal conviction are not eligible for government jobs and are not selected.
Therefore, your daughter should first serve her sentence as per law and come out clean because once she serves her sentence as per the provisions of law, she can apply for any government job but if she does not serve her sentence as per the conviction order then she may not be eligible for applying to government jobs.
